Vacancy: Chair to the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru
Making an application
This is an incredibly exciting time to lead the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru. In addition to its core purpose of monitoring the boundaries for local government in Wales, the Commission has taken on new responsibilities including reviewing Senedd constituency boundaries, hosting the Electoral Management Board, and overseeing the remuneration of councillors. With these new responsibilities, and the need to establish wholly new Senedd constituencies that will be contested at the 2030 election, the Commission is at the forefront of shaping Wales's democratic landscape. The Chair will play a crucial role in steering these initiatives with authority and integrity.
